How do I serve a Small Claims Subpoena for Personal Appearance and Production of Documents at Trial or Hearing and Declaration?

A Small Claims Subpoena (SC-107) must be personally served. The witness is entitled to "witness fees" and mileage that must be paid at the time of service if demanded or prior to the scheduled hearing. The service must be made within a reasonable time prior to the hearing. The time given a witness is not a specified and mandated period. (CCP 1985.3, CCP 1985.6)
