As you have experienced, fuel prices are in constant flux. In our business, fuel is one of the biggest expenses. In order to keep our prices competitive, when fuel prices are over $4.00 per gallon we have a choice to make, either raise our rates across the board or apply a temporary Fuel Surcharge during the time that fuel prices are over $4.00 per gallon. When fuel prices cycle back below the $4.00 per gallon rate we can then discontinue adding the Fuel Surcharge. The actual charge to your Invoice may vary depending on the price of fuel at the time the invoice is created. We will be adding the equivalent of  the average price of 1 gallon of fuel at the AM/PM gas stations in our local area for each service address at the time the job is ordered.
